Shannon has worked in Hillsboro since 2008. She earned her nursing degree from Clark College and worked for 10 years in King City before joining the Portland Health and Rehabilitation staff, and ultimately, its sister facility in Hillsboro. Shannon was born and raised in North Plains where she still spends her free time on her farm with her two beautiful horses.
Nina has been at Hillsboro since 2000 and considers herself lucky each day she can help someone. “I genuinely love working with people and I’m always available to help out whenever needed,” she said. She received a GED from Portland Community College-Chemeketa and knows what it means to have a loved one in need of skilled nursing. “I've seen our level of care from both sides of the spectrum and I appreciate what it is to be a family member who wants the best for a respected member of her family.”
Amy Walker joined the Hillsboro staff in 2007 and became rehabilitation manager in 2008. Since earning a master's degree in physical therapy from Pacific University in the 1990s, she has worked in sports medicine, outpatient care, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. A native of Kansas, Amy is a huge Jayhawks fan and loves spending time with her daughter.
